"It was an amazing session! We have covered quiet a lot in terms of interviews and film marking. I interviewed one of the elders. He was an open-minded person, and easy going. He talked about his struggles and how he used to live in Somalia. He left his family at the age of 15 to find a job and help his family, to put them in a better position than they were. He traveled to different countries and became a seafarer. He told me the Somali passport was so important to Somalis that they rejected the British one. After a couple of months, he moved to England. He said that it was difficult to find better jobs because Somalis didn't have British passports. After a couple of years he applied for his British passport, so he could then find a job and bring his family home."
