Museum of London Docklands

Updated: May 9, 2018

On Saturday we went to the Museum of London Docklands. There was a large group of us, including Somali Seafarers who came along.

Our main aim was to learn and collect the

histories of the seafarers. The elders explained to the youths how they used to work in the ships. They recognised the photos of the ships, and the equipment and tools. They showed us how they used to go into different countries and cities around the world.
